The official start of spring has finally arrived despite the chilly temperatures in Gettysburg, PA. The coming of spring means it’s time for some spring cleaning and giving your home the face-lift it needs after the cold winter months.

Since glass tile is so versatile it can literally work ANYWHERE in a bathroom- walls, vanity tops, back splashes, and floors! Also, many times glass tile is made from recycled glass bottles and jars making it an eco-friendly option for your home.

Another great feature about glass tile is that it’s resistant to moisture and temperature changes. (Perfect for inside the shower and bathtub area.) Glass tile is also extremely easy to keep clean with a mop and some simple glass window cleaner!

A big trend in tile right now is the use of linear tile. Linear tile gives a really nice effect especially when used for kitchen backsplashes and bathrooms, but the effect can be used virtually anywhere. The different varieties and finishes that are available allows you to create a unique, contemporary look for your home. In addition to their contemporary look, these tiles can be effectively used to visually elongate a space vertically or horizontally depending on what you would like to achieve.
